Faith Baptist seeks
to be a Loving, Praying Church that Leads the Lost to
Christ Jesus, Builds Up His Body of Believers, and Gives
Glory to God in All that We Say and Do.
(Colossians 3:17)
·Loving Church:
We seek to provide a warm, nurturing atmosphere where
Christians can grow in their walk with Jesus Christ and
non-Christians can learn of His claims of Lordship on
each life. We have monthly after church fellowships, as
well as many special events throughout the year to
promote a bond of love in the Family of Faith.
·A
Praying Church: We believe in the
power and importance of prayer. Our Sunday Mornings
begin with an opportunity for prayer at 8:45 a.m. in the
Sanctuary. During the Sunday School and Morning Worship
hours, a Prayer Warrior is in the Prayer Room praying
for those who are in Bible Study and Worship. On
Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. the church gathers for
Prayer Meeting before the various discipleship
activities at 6:30 p.m. Our staff gathers once a week to
pray for special concerns, and our Prayer Chains are
available to pray for needs at all hours.
·Leading
the Lost to Christ Jesus: We
acknowledge a responsibility as those who have found
salvation in Jesus Christ, to share Him with those who
have not experienced the life-changing power that only
He has to give. We share the truth that Jesus is the
only means of salvation from sin and the only way to God
the Father and the eternal life He offers.
·Building
Up His Body of Believers: We teach
that all believers in Christ need to be a part of a
local church where they can learn and grow in their
relationship with Jesus and other believers, as well as
use their God-given gifts to help others grow in Christ
likeness. We emphasize studying the Bible both privately
and together with other believers. We offer Sunday
School classes for all age groups at 9:15 a.m. each
Sunday, and other Bible Study opportunities throughout
the week, including Sundays at 5:00 p.m., Tuesdays
afterschool for children, and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
·Giving
Glory to God in All that We Say and Do:
We believe that all men owe worship to God, the Creator
and Sustainer of life. We strive to please Him in our
words and our actions. We worship Him together on
Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., but also gather for
special services of worship at many other times during
the year. Moreover, we believe that every Christian
should show his or her worship to the Lord every minute
of every day, that in all we say and do, we should
glorify Him out of the love and gratitude of our hearts.
"Whatever you do, whether in word or deed,
do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ giving
thanks to God the Father through Him." (Colossians 3:17)
Our
Ministries:
·Children’s
Ministry: Faith Baptist makes a
strong commitment to raise godly children by providing
opportunities of Christian growth and worship
specifically designed for them. Beginning with graded
Sunday School classes and Children’s Church on Sundays,
all of our children’s ministries seek to bring kids to
Jesus and train them up in loving and biblical ways.
FaithBuilders, an afterschool program on Tuesdays,
introduces children to basic Bible knowledge and skills
while entertaining them with Scripture songs, crafts,
recreation and snacks. Summer camps, Vacation Bible
School, and Christmas Bible School are some of the
regular activities that our children enjoy.
·Youth
Ministry: Led by our Youth
Minister Chase Ward. Our weekly ministry to Jr. High
and High School students includes Sunday School
class, Youth Choir, youth band and a Wednesday evening time of
worship just for them. Throughout the year there are
other opportunities of growth through youth camps,
retreats, Disciple Now events, and monthly fellowships.
We desire to see young people growing in their
relationship with Jesus, so we also help equip them to
be servants by allowing them to lead in worship monthly,
to serve as workers in Vacation Bible School, and by
planning mission activities and trips. Our youth workers
are mature believers who care for teenagers as if they
were their own.
·Music
Ministry: Led by our Minister of Music,
Charles Darling, the Adult Choir helps to lead out in
our Morning Worship services. A small orchestra
accompanies the services, as we seek to glorify God in
our worship. The Youth Choir helps to lead out in the
monthly youth-led worship service. And our Children’s
Choirs bless us with their joyful singing.
Other Ministries:
We have an active Women’s
Ministry that sponsors an annual Women’s Retreat.
Our women also support missionaries through Women on
Mission. Our Men’s Ministry meets weekly on
Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm. We are committed to a vital
Prayer Ministry with a dedicated Prayer Room
in the new sanctuary and Prayer Chains available 24
hours a day.

· Our Message:
1.God loves you and has a
wonderful plan for your life.
John 3:16 God so loved the
world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whoever
believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal
life.
2.Man is sinful and
separated from God because of sin.
Romans 3:23 For all have
sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 The wages of
sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
3.Jesus died on the cross
to pay the price for our sins and rose from the grave on
the third day to prove His power over sin and death. His
death enables us to be forgiven and reconciled to God,
as well as have a joyful and eternal life.
Romans 5:8 God showed His
love for us in that while we were still sinners, Jesus
died for us.
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ
(Jesus) died for sins once for all, the righteous for
the unrighteous, to bring you to God.
4.We have to accept Jesus
Christ as our Savior and Lord in order to be saved from
our sin.
Romans 10:9-10 If you
confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe
in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, then
you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you
believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth
that you confess and are saved.
John 14:6 Jesus said: I am
the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the
Father except through Me.
So how do you get saved?
A – Admit
to God that you are a sinner and know that you cannot
save yourself.
B – Believe
that Jesus is God’s only Son and that His death is the
only means of forgiveness for sins. Believe that God
raised Him from the dead.
C – Confess Jesus as your
Savior and Lord (Master). Commit your
life to Him completely by sincerely asking Jesus to come
into your heart, forgive you of your sin, and be the
Master of your life.
If you have prayed to receive
Christ or would like more information about becoming a
Christian, call our church office at (972) 736-3733 or
ask one of our members to help you.
